Bay Area Open Science Group Meeting

The Bay Area Open Science Group is intended to bring together students, faculty, and staff from the Stanford, UCSF, and Berkeley community to learn about open science, discuss the application of open science practices in a research context, and meet other members of the community who are interested in (or already are) incorporating open science practices into their work.

We meet on the 4th Tuesday of the month from 2-3pm via Zoom. All are welcome to attend and join the conversation!

Join us in September as we get together virtually with colleagues at UCSF and Berkeley to learn about Innovating Education in Reproductive Health, a project from the UCSF Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health to create free curricula and learning tools about sexual and reproductive health.

Director Dr. Biftu Mengesha will give us a short overview of the project including where the idea came from, how they created the videos, and what the response has been. We will then have plenty of time to ask questions and discuss open educational resources more generally.

Join the discussion on our Slack Channel or email John Borghi to be added to the mailing list.
