NEW POP-UP CLASS Quick Introduction to Consensus AI

This 30-minute workshop introduces Consensus.app, an AI-powered search engine that scans peer-reviewed research to surface evidence-based answers and consensus ratings for clinical questions. Designed for researchers who need literature-backed evidence, the session demonstrates how Consensus differs from traditional database searching by synthesizing findings across studies rather than returning a simple results list. Attendees will see live demos showcasing the "consensus meter" and study summaries. Demos will also include guidance on how to filter results by study type and quality. The session ends with guided practice time for participants.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Run a clinical query in Consensus.app and interpret the consensus meter and study summaries to gauge the strength of evidence.
  2. Apply study type and quality filters to refine search results for a specific clinical question.
