Evidence Search for Busy Nurses and Health Care Providers

Need evidence for patient care or a quality improvement project? This session covers quick, practical search strategies using medical literature databases and AI-assisted tools to help busy nurses and health care providers find reliable research. 

Learning objectives:

  • Use the search interfaces of key literature databases (e.g. PubMed, CINAHL, Embase, JBI EBP database) to build effective search strategies using keywords and filters.
    - Apply practical tips to incorporate AI-assisted tools (e.g., SecureGPT, OpenEvidence, and Dimensions Research GPT) in finding relevant literature.
    - Locate and access full-text articles using LibKey Nomad.

Please note: This class will be held via Zoom and recorded. You will receive the Zoom link after registering and again an hour before the session.
