Where to Publish - Evaluating the Fit, Impact, and Quality of Academic Journals
Journal articles are the primary medium for scientific scholarly communication. Deciding which journal to submit your manuscript to can be a difficult process. There are several criteria to consider before you make the choice such as the aim, scope, and audience of the journal; journal quality and impact; visibility; open access; acceptance rate; and peer-review process. This class provides resources and tools useful for identifying appropriate and quality journals for submission of your own research while debunking some common myths and perceptions about peer review.
