Demonstrate your Impact: Tell the Story of your Research Using Traditional Metrics and Altmetrics
In this 45 minute class, you will learn how to harness the power of alternative metrics, or 'altmetrics', to demonstrate your research impact as an alternative to traditional citation metrics. You will gain expertise and familiarity with Altmetric Explorer, a dashboard that houses altmetric data on the individual, article, and journal levels. Guidance on how to use altmetric data to tell the story of your impact in a variety of domains will be provided.
Please note: This class will be held via Zoom and recorded. You will receive the Zoom link after registering and again an hour before the session.
