Create and Implement Competitive NIH Data Management Plans

An important part of NIH grant proposals is the Data Management and Sharing Plan (DMSP) – a short document that describes what data will be acquired by the proposed work and how it’ll be kept, used, and made available to others. For funded grants, the contents of this plan become part of the terms and conditions of the award.

This workshop will cover how to write a competitive plan for submission and how to follow through on the plan once a grant is funded. We will provide templates, rubrics, and other guidance materials and there will be an opportunity for Q and A with a data management expert.
