Starting in 2023, the National Institutes of Health will implement a new data management and sharing policy that will apply to the majority of NIH-funded research.

The policy has two main elements:

1. The inclusion of a data management plan- a short document that details how data will be managed and shared over the course of a project.
2. An expectation that NIH-funded researchers will maximize the sharing of research data.

In this pop-up class, we'll discuss these new requirements and how NIH-funded researchers can fulfill them.
